A Trusted Partner to Develop and Industrialize Your Purification Process
Gilson has developed a range of tailor-made chromatographic solutions for kilo-lab, pilot scale, or industrial use to purify fine chemicals and APIs. Our solutions match requirements from start-ups, CROs, and large pharmaceutical companies for GMP and non-GMP applications.
The unique design of these systems allows you to connect a large range and size of LC columns, such as HPLC, MPLC (High and Medium Pressure Liquid Chromatographic column), or CPC (Centrifugal Partition Chromatographic column) to optimize your production throughput, costs, and quality.
Gilson supports your needs for preparative purification, not only by providing systems, but also through our contract purification services.
Preparative Chromatography Systems: End-to-end Solutions for Chemical and Drug Development
Preparative chromatography, a method used to separate and purify target compounds from complex mixtures, plays a crucial role in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. In either industry, preparative chromatography has roles in the early stages of drug development, pilot studies, and process development. In this article, you'll learn how we provide support throughout this process and enable our customers and partners to achieve their purification goals from the milligrams to the kilogram scale.
With the capability to purify compounds by preparative HPLC at a flow rate up to 500 mL/min with pressure up to 110 bar, Gilson's PLC 2500 Purification Systems simplify and streamline compound purification on HPLC column up to 80mm ID or on CPC column up to 1L. These compact systems feature UV/VIS detection with an optional upgrade to a diode array detector (DAD) or evaporative light scattering detection (ELSD), an integrated pumping system, fraction collector, touchscreen control, and Gilson Prep Software.
The VERITY® SKID LC is designed for use in preparative and industrial liquid chromatography (LC). The system automatically elutes the mobile phase, injects a solution, detects molecules by UV/VIS absorbance (by default 200 to 600 nm), and collects fractions when connected to a LC column, such as HPLC, MPLC, or CPC. The system specifications can be customized for your needs. Controlled by a certified 21 CFR part 11 chromatographic software, this industrial equipment comes with the compliance requested specifically for your production environments.
The VERITY CPC Pilot System combines the PLC 2500 Purification System with a VERITY CPC 1000 PRO for high-level target compound purification. This automated, cost-effective, liquid-liquid purification technique utilizes reusable, silica-free chromatographic columns to streamline your workflow and allows you to quickly isolate specific molecules with high yields and purity.
