The Gilson 508 Interface Module connects your computer to up to 32 Gilson Serial Input/Output Channel (GSIOC) instruments, allowing these instruments to be configured within a system containing Ethernet-controlled devices. The 508 Interface Module also provides LED indicators for the RS-232 and GSIOC communication that can indicate any communication problems between the computer and the GSIOC hardware. Note: The 508 Interface Module is strictly a communication device and does not contain any contact control or analog input capabilities that are found on the 506C System Interface.
